Mahindra’s sole distributor, DIMO, began an extensive on ground promotional campaign with an impactful, catchy theme, Swaraj Godata Yodhaya, Madata Shurya, which means ‘The warrior on land is brave on mud’. The campaign which was rolled out on 17th August 2020 will continue till 15th October 2020. It began in Kokkadicholai and will cover the Batticaloa, Ampara, Monaragala, Hambantota, Kurunegala, Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa and Ratnapura areas.
Through this campaign, the farmers are getting an in-depth understanding of the power, performance and versatility of Swaraj tractors. The DIMO Agritech team is organising product demos in fields to showcase the features and benefits of the tractors as well as how to maintain them. This gives the farmers a first-hand experience of the tractors. At these demos, the services offered by DIMO are also being communicated. In addition, road shows are also being planned and rolled out. As part of the road shows, vibrantly designed vehicles move around the different localities to promote the tractors. Wherever these vehicles stop, people are given information about the tractors as well as engaged in interactive activities. Dealer training sessions and promotional programs for financial institute representatives make up the other aspects of this 2-month long campaign.
The campaign is well-planned by DIMO and will be instrumental in spreading awareness about the brand far and wide, while also strengthening the brand-farmer bond.
