Mahindra acquired 75.1% equity stake in Turkey based, Hisarlar, to augment its farm equipment business in Turkey, Europe, USA and North Africa. Hisarlar exports agricultural machinery to Iran, Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece and Cyprus. Founded in 1974, Hisarlar holds the distinction of holding over 45% of the Rotary Tiller market in Turkey. Hisarlar was the first manufacturer, in the world, of the Trailed Cotton Picker Machine. Its product portfolio includes Tractor Cabins, Agriculture Machinery and Machinery Components.
